Occupation: CSULB Grad Student & Supplemental Instructor

Jambo! We have officially been in Tanzania for a week! After a week my Swahili is getting a little better, “Jina lakho ni?" That’s, “What is your name?" in Swahili.

Today I got to spend some time working with the teachers at the Ayalagaya Secondary School, to train them on using some new laptops. I even got to stop in Babati, the local town, for a Coke while on our way back to the Institute. Thank you to my family and friends following. I’m looking forward to telling you all more about beautiful Tanzania when I get back!
