Church, Coffee and Celebrations

Yesterday saw the whole group visit the local church. It was an amazing and humbling experience and the group sang to the villagers as a way of thanking them for their incredible hospitality, warmth and welcome into the community.

Later in the afternoon, the team visited one of the nearby coffee plantations to see how it is run and how it can help provide much needed income to the farmers.

Finally - we have been asked to let you know that Jade also had a fantastic Birthday. The team had a camp fire, Tanzanian 'disco' and balloons with much music, celebrations and even a Karimu version of the 'Harlem Shake'!

It is now going to be a busy few days of work on the bridge and staff house before the group depart later in the week for safari...
